With their 'Organisers' division, the group involves leading universities of USA, UK and other professionals in various fields like student visas to meet the students in Hyderabad directly for facilitating direct communication and interaction.

Gateway to America- through the hands of Chief Minister!

The 'Organisers' division of Valmiki Group has earned another feather in its illustrious cap recently. Dr.Arun C. Vakil, Hon.Director of the Group has published a new 2006 edition of his ever-popular 'Gateway to America'. The new edition was launched in Andhra Pradesh, by the Hon. Chief Minister, Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Friday, the 30th June, in his chambers. Present during this occasion were Dr.Arun C. Vakil, Mr. Ganesh Valmiki, CMD of Valmiki Group. On this occasion, the Chief Minister expressed the hope that the new edition will be a big success. He also wished that Dr. Arun C Vakil and Valmiki Group become more popular and keep up the good work they have been doing for the student community.

Later in the evening, on the same day, a seminar on U.S Visas was conducted at Birla Science Auditorium, which was attended in large numbers by the students of tri-cities. A public launch of the book 'Gateway to America' was released to the public by the Chief Guest of the evening and Hon. Minister for Labour and Employment, Sri G. Vinod Kumar. Mr. Nrupender Rao, Chairperson of M/s Pennar Group of Industries was the Guest of Honour.

The keynote message was given Dr. Arun C. Vakil, who has given a detailed presentation on various types of visas and how to obtain them in a proper manner. The Question-answer session at the end of the seminar was a huge success, with all the students and their parents participating enthusiastically.

As part of this ongoing process, the following events were conducted.

Free Counseling by the officials of University of North Alabama, USA was done by Dr. Dan Howard, Vice President of the university, on 2nd February 2006 at Valmiki Group's corporate office. Eligible students were given 'Preliminary offer letters' immediately after counseling. This greatly helped students to plan their visa process, well in advance.	A few photographs of the event:

US Universities Education Fair, at Hotel Minerva Grand, S.D. Road, Secunderabad, on 11th February 2006. Officials representing more than 30 universities in USA have met students in this hugely successful Education Fair. Representatives of reputed universities such as, University of Missouri Rolla, Old Dominion University Saginaw Valley State University National University Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus SUNY, Oneonta, and others. Hundreds of students, numbering more than 300 have participated in the Fair, sought information, clarifications and obtained assistance from the officials directly and from the International Education division of Valmiki Group. Needless to say, the event was a grand success, with mutual satisfaction among the officials and students alike. The event was extensively covered in Electronic Media like Television, Newspapers and in personal interviews as 'News Clippings' in popular regional TV channels such as TEJA, TV9 etc.

Spot Admissions in University of Abertay, Dundee, Scotland on 17th February 2006, at the British Education Fair, Hotel Taj Krishna, Hyderabad. Several enthusiastic students participated in the British Education Fair, in which University of Abertay Dundee's Mr. Harry Staines and Dr. Joe Akunna have conducted interviews and gave on-the-spot admissions to Valmiki Group's students and others.

Montana State University, Bozeman's Spot interviews of aspiring students, on 21st February 2006, at Valmiki Group's offices in Secunderabad and Punjagutta. One of the leading universities in USA, Montana State University's Dr. Michael Oudshoorm Head of the Department of Computer Science and Ms. Elizabeth K. Blanchford, International Programs Specialist have specially visited only Valmiki Group's and its associate offices in Hyderabad to conduct spot interviews and interact with aspiring students of Hyderabad. More than 100 students vied for personal meetings and review of their applications, which was a highly successful event for the Organisers division of Valmiki Group.
